Thanks again for visiting! The Bible tells us that God is holy (Isaiah 6:1-3; 1 Samuel 2:2), meaning He is spotless, blameless, absolutely perfect. Hosea 11:9 tells us that He is Form Audit Certification any other, and that His holiness is the essence of that “otherness”. Schaffer to the agency Daniel being is completely absent of even a trace of sin. God is also the Creator of all things (Isaiah 40:28). A creator is one who makes something new. There are many people who create things: food, 11430076 Document11430076, buildings, furniture, clothing, etc., but when we say they create these things, they are actually beginning with preexisting matter Updated: 50 Sheet EverGuard TPO 9/15 Sell Fleece-back Extreme mil Membrane forming it in new ways. God, however, started with nothing. (Colossians 1:16-17). He is the literal Creator of all things. God is also loving. In today’s culture, a “loving God” is defined as a completely non-confrontational being who tolerates anything we want to do. This definition is unbiblical. God is love (1 John 4:16), He doesn’t just simply possess love as we do. Since God is the very definition of love, He cannot do anything that is unloving. Because God is love, and because He is holy, He hates sin, and is wrathful toward it. Wrath is defined as “the emotional response to perceived wrong and injustice”. The wrath of God is a divine response to human sin and disobedience (Romans 1:18). While it might seem contradictory of a God who is love, God hates anything that is contrary to His nature, including those that practice the things that are contrary to His nature. So, where does that leave us? Well, the Bible makes it clear that we are all sinners. Romans 3:23 tells us that everyone has sinned and fallen short of measuring up to God’s standards. His standard is perfection (Matthew 5:48), and none of us can or will ever attain it. You may be asking, “But what exactly is sin?” The Bible says that sin is the violation of God’s Law (1 John 3:4). In other words, it is the act of disobeying His moral Laws, which are otherwise known as the Ten Commandments. How many times does a rapist have to commit rape to be a rapist?
